Nowadays, with the growing pace of process of Urbanization, a large number of people inrush into the city, thus the risk of public security may exist in the airport, railway station, subway station, stadiums and other crowded gathering places. Domestic and foreign media has reported that many religious activities and sports venues and other places occur congestion and people are unable to escape, leading to a serious loss of life and property. Therefore, the research of how to make personnel evacuate to safe areas quickly and how to avoid casualties if fire and congestion happens in the transportation hub and public buildings is of great significance. Protecting people’s lives and property safety has very high application value in architectural design and security incidents. Considerable progress has been made in the study of crowd evacuation after years of unremitting efforts of researchers.The thesis firstly reviews the real case of a crowd congestion, describes the research background and significance, research methods, ideas and innovations commonly used in related fields home and abroad, introduces the current evacuation simulation method and model. After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the theory and method above, we decide to construct the simulation platform based on Agent theory. As the theoretical foundation, we introduces the definition, classification, model, research content of Agent technology and Multi-Agent System. Referring to the well-known crowd evacuation simulation software, this thesis adopts the method of semantic model. We finish the construction with three lays: graphic layer, semantic analysis layer and scenario layer. The graphic layer includes the two-dimensional scene and 3D graphics unit. The semantic analysis layer contains types of the micro structure and topological structure. We put forward to the concept of Surrounding-Frame in the scenario layer,according to the Dijkstra algorithm, helping personnel select the appropriate path to complete the evacuation; We analyze the behavior of people and the relationship between its own attributes after the fire occurs inside the building, we propose the modeling and simulating calculation framework based on Agent technology. Besides, we put forward to the behavior model and simulation method. In the actual simulation stage,combining the method based on the previous chapters and using C++ programming language, we establish the evacuation simulation platform Escape. Escape platform can be used in the Windows system. After setting the number and location of fire evacuation, the simulation behavior of personnel of the building scene can be displayed to complete function of the scene modeling and graphical input and output directly. We are able to observe real-time situation inside the scene. It is clearly demonstrated that how the personnel select the path and complete the evacuation after fire happens. This process can help user to analyze the reason of personnel select the corresponding evacuation plan; Finally, we complete the work summary and prospect, review the content of the work, and look forward to the future development prospects.The results of this paper are helpful for the study of evacuation of buildings under fire scenes and provide practical experience for further study of the evacuation of more complex cases in the future.
