The Research On Prevention Countermeasures Of Extremism Crime

With the social development, some gradually rising social contradictions such as economic imbalance, various interests pursuit and diversified value orientation are growing constantly. Extremism gradually appears in China’s social contradictions and develops continuously. Violent attack of extremists, country secession activities, suicide attacks of extremist, and violence killing happen occasionally within Chinese territory. Extremism crime has been endangering national security and social public safety. Under this background, what we should do is to theoretically seek out why extremism crime happen, and then find corresponding counter-measures, restraining it from the root.This thesis consists of three parts. The first part is an introduction of extremism crime, which mainly discusses its concept, current situation in China and its huge social harm. What does extremism crime mean? Over a period of time, in order to achieve some systematical idea, proposition, style or institutional system which is against the social orthodox values, as well as stubborn, exclusive, and also trying to maintain some one and fixed opinion, there are some unscrupulous measures one will take which may generate the consequence of endangering society, and further violating international and domestic laws. Currently, the extremism crime within China is mainly in fields of religious extremism and ethnic separation extremism, which combines with terroristic crime to form a complicated situation of "extremism, separatism and terrorism trinity ". Extremism crime is mainly distributed in border areas like Xinjiang and Tibet, and main extremism crime activities are also gathered here, even showing the trend of moving to mainland.The second part is analysis to the cause of extremism crime, which analyzes the root causation, crime motivation and relevant individual factors of extremism crime according to the causation crime of system theory. Fundamentally speaking, extremism crime is a product of class conflict, and various social contradictions are the basic reason to the extremism crime, the merits of government policy and the mode of how to use their power from power executives is the direct reason to extremism crime. From the aspect of crime motivation, government misconduct and failure of law control provide living space for extremism crime. Economic backwardness and religional imbalance lay a foundation to extremism crime. Extremism culture development and its conflict with mainstream culture provide theoretical support and psychological basis to extremism crime. Weak education and individual deformation of mental development form the inducing factor of extremism crime. All these reasons constitute the stimulus of extremism crime and push it to grow constantly, unscrupulous and aggressive.The third part is to put forward corresponding countermeasures through comprehensive treatment theory of crime prevention, according to the cause of extremism crime. From following points of view:social perspectives like economy, culture, Ideological and moral guidance and so on, timely accurate and lawful criminal legislation and criminal justice, and the correction of individual unhealthy psychology and needs, to come up with countermeasure for social, criminal and dividual prevention to extremism crime respectively.
