Study On The Management Of Religious Affairs In Meshan,Sichuan

We had researched the locations and the status of Meishan religious affairs. In conclusion, there are four major problems:Firstly, the administrator lacks of the instructions of scientific theories; should free up the mind, seek truth from facts, advance with the times, take a scientific approach toward the admininstration of Meishan religious affairs. Secondly, the administration system is unperfect, the administration ability is low and the effcts is unsatisfied. Thirdly, the weak links is those religious affairs concerning about public crisis. Fourthly, the guideness from the government in long time is not active enough and lacks of control on both the fixed and flexible.We hereby conclude that to properly deal with religious issues,we must recognize the necessity and protracted nature of the existence of religions and completely implement the Party’s policy on freedom of religious belief. We need to construct the system of one integration of six characteristics; rehance three kinds of abilities of administration in religious affairs:build, correct and innovate. We still should administ religious issues according to law, protect the rights and interests of religious organizations, and actively guide the religions to adapt themselves to the socialist society.
