Research On Government Supervision Of Small Loan Company In Dezhou

In recent years, small loan companies in China have made considerable progress. At the same time, it has constructed a new small loan finance company model of private capital in investment for profit and credit only. Small loan companies cover the shortage of commercial banks and have made a great contribution to the development of agriculture and small companies, which has promoted the development of county economy and regulated private capital. However, many supervision problems have been exposed. The supervision department of small loan companies at the central level is the People’s Bank of China and The China banking regulatory commission,while at the local level, it is the finance office. Although the government department has developed a regulatory regime and perfected the regulation measures of small loan companies, grassroots government has encountered many problems in regulation practices. Under the background of economic downturn, it is a big challenge for grassroots government to supervise small loan companies. In this essay, the author took the city of Dezhou as an example, analyzed the development situation, supervision actuality and present problems in Dezhou. The theoretical basis of the essay is public interest theory and financial regulatory balance theory. With the empirical analysis and data analysis method, the author using the experience of domestic advanced cities, proposed the supervision measures proper for Dezhou government: Build effective supervision organization system; A group of three supervision thoughts of small loan companies; Strengthen the incentive regulation; Expand financing channels; Guide the companies to make business transformation to suit the needs of new situation.
