The Eyre System originates in France of Western Europe, William the Conqueror brought the system to England in the Norman Conquest. It was one of the reform measures which was created by the Normans to strengthen the kingship. It had both judicial and administrative functions in the beginning of produce, while dealing with the case, circuit judges brought royal authority to around in each circuit. This system can also help the central royal master jurisdiction of around, limit the power of the sheriffs. Meanwhile, the Eyre System brought the royal a lot of financial income, filled to the state Treasury funds. The Eyre System was divided into two parts, the Eyre and the Assize, only existed for nearly one hundred years. Generally recognized by the academic circles,the existence of the Eyre system has laid a good foundation for the formation of the common law, at the same time, promoted the development of the jury system and the writ.This paper combed the system from the formation, development to the end of each phase, in an attempt to restore a complete circuit trial system and analysis the enlightenment to build the Eyre System in China. This paper is divided into five parts, the first part is the history of the Eyre system, mainly discusses the the origin of the Eyre System, analyzes that the Norman rulers brought in the system in order to strengthen the kingship and increase financial income of the royal family,introduces the process of the system established in England. The second part introduces the Eyre and the Assize. The third part focuses on the running of the Eyre system on the 13th century, it has reached a flourish. This part mainly analyzes the operation mechanism of the total circuit and run the program, and summarize the running effect of the Eyre model. The fourth part discusses the decline and the end of the system, and focus on the reason of the decline of the system. The fifth part discusses the influence of the Eyre system, respectively summarizes the effect of the jury system, analysis the system establishment model of the Eyre and conclusions to use the experience of the Eyre system of England to build Eyre system in China.
