From Conflict To Harmony:The Aim Of Marx’s Theory Of Social Conflict

Harmony is the trend and aim of the current social development, but the conflict as a objective existence is inevitable. How to accurately decipher the dialectical relationship of harmony and conflict,and how to resolve social conflicts and realize social harmony is an inevitable theoretical issue in the Marxist’s theory of social conflict. In Marxist theory, social harmony has rich theoretical connotation, and from the perspective of contradiction between the harmony and conflict, social harmony is a good state of unity between social contradictions and conflicts in the process of social development, it’s a dynamic harmony of conflict constantly be resolved. Their dialectical relationship is:the purport of social conflict is the social harmony, and the social conflict is the effective means to achieve social harmony. In historical materialism, conflict and harmony is historical concept, different historical periods shows different forms, so when explore the significance of the process from conflict to harmony, we should from the reality of the social development of our country.The key of the process from conflict to harmony is to resolve the conflict and achieve harmony, but the conflict and harmony is the historical concept, so to resolve the conflict and achieve harmony should be started from the current reality of China’s social. According to the reason of the social conflict in Marx’s theory, this chapter elementary summarized the Chinese Communist Party’s exploration in the resolving conflicts and the realization of harmony since the 16th Congress from three aspects of interests, law and cultural concept.
