A Study About The Young Pioneers Of China Influences And Cultivates Political Socialization Of Young Pioneers

The Young Pioneers of China, as a children’s organization that founded and led by the Communist Party of China, is the most significant supporter on political socialization of Young Pioneers. The political learning of childhood will play a primary effect in the political social life of adulthood, because first impressions are strongest. For this purpose, the Young Pioneers of China, through the ideas of education and the objectives of the organization, has continually optimized the activities, leading children to be ambitious and enhancing the overall quality. Based on its irreplaceable role, it has been the vital component of primary and secondary education. However, because of the scores-oriented education in school for a long time, some problems and contradiction are gradually emerging in promoting the political socialization of young pioneers. In addition, with door opening to the world, the western ideology has brought negative effect to Chinese children. Now, the study about the current situation of Young Pioneers has not been settled. Given this, this paper analyses the present situation of political socialization of young pioneers, influencing factors and puts forward corresponding cultivation path to aim at solving the challenges and problems. This paper will preferably promote function of the Young Pioneers of China. In the multicultural period, it plays an important role in the development of young pioneers’ideology.The paper takes a random sample about 14 schools of the six cities in Zhejiang Province. By the questionnaire method, this paper investigates the present situation of political socialization of young pioneers, from political cognition, political emotion recognition, and political participation tendencies. The research found that the level of the political socialization of young pioneers is above the average. Specifically speaking, there are three points. Firstly, the young pioneers have an ideal cognition on current affairs with high attention, but lacking the knowledge of the Party’s history; the basic knowledge of the young pioneer has an optimistic level, but vaguely comprehending the meaning of the symbol. Secondly, the national identification is not balanced. The Chinese identification is higher than others among it. And Party identification shows well and positive, so as the political emotion does. The young pioneers have strong organization identification, but thin consciousness about duty and obligation. Thirdly, young pioneers participate in national public affairs actively with quite strong civic responsibility. And the self-efficacy is well. At the same time, the young pioneers actively participate in scholastic public affairs. The participation rate of young pioneers’activities is low, yet the intention to participate is above the average. Through having an interview with primary-level organization and counselors, and combining with related literature material, the paper that the ideas and objectives of the Young Pioneers of China play a positive impact on the political socialization. The goals are comprehensive and scientific, highlighting the political thought of enlightenment. By correlation analysis, the research showed that the three dimensionalities of political socialization of the young pioneers are affected by organizational identification and activities of the Young Pioneers of China. On the basis of data analysis, this paper puts forward three approaches in promoting the political socialization of young pioneers. Primarily, clear confirm the objectives of Young Pioneers of China about the political socialization, improving the level of political cognition. Next, build political socialization education field of young pioneers, cultivating political emotion recognition. Thirdly, boost Young pioneer’s activities to develop healthily, guiding political participation trend.
