The formation of the setup of the U.S.-Soviet hegemony and the Cold War induced the establishment of the US-Japan alliance. The alliance during the Clinton administration wasre-defined, which has been consolidated during the George W. Bush’s ruling United States. The United States and Japan were close to each other in the political aspect, the intensive interaction on the economic front and theenhanced cooperation in the military field. This situation wasn’t in the new changes until the President Obama came to power. The United States put forward the strategic idea of the Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy, which had greatly strengthened the U.S.-Japan alliance. In the current stage, the United States shows the support to Japan in the territorial dispute between China and Japan, while with the new "pointer" as the mark, the U.S.-Japan alliance has been further strengthened. In the new "pointer" the target of the U.S.-Japan Alliance was revised, the limit of time and space of Security cooperation of US-Japan alliance was reduced, the two areas of cooperation in space and network was increased, and it had been expanded from the traditional military fields into the political and economic fields. The main reason of strengthening of the U.S.-Japan Alliance lies in two aspects:on the one hand, the United States wants to implement the Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy by virtue of the U.S.-Japan Alliance; on the other hand, Japan can enhance regional influence reply on the U.S.-Japan Alliance. At present, the development trend of the US-Japan alliance has gradually been clear. First of all, the United States and Japan will make the transition from "division of labor" to "overall co-ordination", to achieve the union as a whole; and secondly, the US-Japan alliance will develop into the "multilateral" alliance from the "bilateral" alliance, including Australia, South Korea, India and other countries will likely be incorporated into the system of the US-Japan alliance; thirdly, the scope of cooperation of the US-Japan alliance will be by the Asia-Pacific to global, and achieve the cooperation between Japan and the United States on a global scale. The purpose of the American Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy is to contain China’s peaceful rise, which has casted a cloud over the construction of the new big-power relations between China and the United States, and seriously hindered the development of relations between China and the United States. There is a conflict between history and reality in Japan and China, resulting in limping on the relations between China and the United States. Viewing from the realistic environment, the relationships of China, the United States and Japan will be balance development, establish the positive relations between big countries with one another, and strive to seek ways to build a peaceful framework.
