The Research On Xiao Shuzi’s Thought Of Electrifying Education Based On Philosophy Of Technology

Research basis of educational technology is philosophy of technology and philosophy ofeducation. There are already many researches based on philosophy of education. Butresearches based on philosophy of technology is so few and scattered. In order to flourishingand healthy development of practice of electrifying education in China, we must strengthendiscipline construction and theoretical accomplishment in perspective of philosophy oftechnology in itself field. Xiao Shuzi is a pioneer and founder of our national electrifyingeducation. These theories are functions of technology, relationship between technology andeducation, and how to develop the event of consilient reality and so on, to which he hadoriginal ideas. In the critical period of development of electrifying education in China, fromperspective of philosophy of technology, we analyse his theory and practice of electrifyingeducation, which conduces to enlighten attitudes and perceptions of people applyingtechnology in education. The purpose is to direct researchers of educational technology intheoretical research and practice.This text borrows research results and framework of philosophy of technology. From theontology, axiology and praxis aspects, the text analyses Xiao Shuzi’s thought of electrifyingeducation. In the part of ontology, it mainly elaborates Xiao Shuzi’s thought about essence ofelectrifying education, relationship between technology, education, people and electrifyingeducation. Axiology includes Xiao Shuzi’s thought about intrinsic value and extrinsic value ofelectrifying education. Praxis mainly discusses Xiao Shuzi’s thought about behavior patternof practice of electrifying education, practical methodology of electrifying education anddevelopment of practice of electrifying education.
