With the development of higher education, female graduate students has becomea huge group. And men receive higher education is widely respected different, highereducated women, the more easy to be labeled “Do not want to cause the family” and“third category”. In this not very healthy social and public opinion environment,female graduate students exactly how to love and marriage, with this issue, theauthor of a university in Gansu in the female postgraduates (Master, doctor) as theresearch object, using quantitative (survey) and qualitative research methods(interviews) combining by the female graduate student’s view of love andmarriage, mate choice, these three dimensions to the investigation and analysisof female postgraduates’ view of love and marriage, expected through quantitative andqualitative method of combining marriage concept of female graduate studentsconduct clearly articulate and digging deep to explore the concept of marriage topromote their causes, and to further explore the concept of the status of marriage incontemporary society.This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the introduction, mainlyintroduces the research background, purpose, significance, and review of literature. Thesecond chapter is the research design, including the basic concepts, theories andresearch methods. The third chapter is the status of marriage concept of highlyeducated young women, mainly from the analysis and research comes to love, mateand marriage in three areas. Female graduate student comes to love is described bythe love motive, love fashion, love spending commitments, female graduate studentsin the eyes of love, the attitude of the lovelorn five composition. Spouseconcept consists of two aspects of autonomy and the standard of choosing spouse.View of marriage by maintaining the three aspects of love and marriage, marriage willand purpose, constitutes marriage. In addition, from the four aspectsof cohabitation, naked marriage, flash marriage, extramarital affairs analysis femalegraduate students to these alternative views and attitudes of marriage. The fourthchapter is the influence factors on love and marriage of female graduatestudents, mainly analyses the influence of the four aspects of traditional values, family factors, social factors and individual factors on female graduate students outlook onlove and marriage. The fifth chapter gives the conclusions of thisresearch, and pointed out the shortcomings of the research and the need forimprovement.
