Exploration About Enhancing The Effectiveness Of College Students’ Education On Socialist Core Value

The communist party’s18th national congress raised that we should promote prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony, freedom, equality, justice and law, patriotism, dedication, honesty, kindness, and that we should actively cultivate the core values of socialism. In last December, the CPC Central Committee Office issued "the Opinion about Cultivating and Practicing Socialist Core Values", it proposed that prosperity, democracy, civilization and harmony are the value goals of national level; freedom, equality, justice and law are the value orientations of social level; patriotism, dedication, honesty and kindness are the value criterions of individual level. These24words are the basic content of socialist core values which provides the basic way for the cultivation and practice. However, a reality that can’t be ignored is the existence of multiple values among college students, which are utilitarian, variability and so on. There is an important influence on the social development and the growth of college students. Therefore, it has high value to study how to use the socialist core values to guide students to develop positive values and continue exploring the way to improve the socialist core values education effect. Till now, this article is going to explore ways to strengthen the socialist core values education based on others’ research and some interviews.The first part is the introduction, which mainly combed the status, reasons and ways of college students’ socialist core values education in China, and explore the status, enlightenment of foreign value education. This article is based on these reviews and evaluation. The second part is to define the core concepts from connotation and denotation, such as core values, the core values of socialism and college students’ socialist core values education. The third part is the theoretical basis: the inculcation theory and character and moral education theory. The former is as a general rule and the latter gives rationality for the following counter-measures. The fourth part describes the situation, including the successful experiences and deficiencies based on interviews and data in other research. This part focuses on finding problems in the course of value education, which can provide effective references for exploring the education path. The fifth part analyzes the reasons for problems before. The era background, family reasons and students themselves are not involved. This article tries to find reasons from education itself, such as educational objectives, spiritual atmosphere, the students’ characteristics, education system integration, teacher themselves and current research effort. These reasons will help explore ways of targeted breakthrough. The sixth part explores the effective ways of enhancing college student’ socialist core value education, which is the priority and value of this article. Analysis of the current situation and reasons before, this part try to find some ways from five aspects:the educational concept, the educational demand, the educational power, the educational carrier, the educational method. These aspects get a more detailed, specific, practical optimization and integration. Therefore, I hope the results can be a reference for promoting college students’ socialist core values education.
