Academic career plan plays a remarkable role in the career path to undergraduate students, but nowadays more and more problems appear along with the development. This analysis attempts to make an empirical research of the affecting factors to undergraduates’ academic career plan using mathematical statistical method of Independent Samples T-test, ANOVA and regression analysis and so on. The samples of the792undergraduates come from three universities and the variables are mainly background variables. The main conclusions come as followed:The difference of gender, grade, place of domicile, parents’ educational background and jobs, internships and academic career plan coaching makes sense to the diversity of undergraduates’ academic career plan as a whole, while the difference of majors and experience of students’ cadre makes indifference to the academic career plan. The multiple linear regression analyze shows the following factors which influence students’ academic career plan:the experience of academic career plan coach, grade, parents’ educational status, social internship experience, the seat of the registered residence and mother’s jobs.Finally, here comes the advice of fostering academic career plan awareness, exploring the academic career possibility actively, ensuring the academic career goals, applying the academic career plan implement scheme and making assessment and adjustment to your academic career plan timely combined with the analyze conclusion and the actual status of colleague students’ academic career plan. To colleague staff, it is also important to make sure if the students’ positioning of academic career plan are right, develop multiple coach to students, strengthen the coaching staff and concern more about students’ diversity. To students’ parents, they also need promote their learning consciousness and assist their sons and daughters to know more about their characters. At very last, the author also explains the shortages of this study.
