Training of students’ non-intellectual factors plays a significant role inteaching management of teachers and the all-round development of students. The studytakes overall sampling method.363students from Grade1class7of Tongnan middlehigh school, Tongnan county, Chongqing, has been survived about the non-intellectualfactors in geography learning. Methods like literature reading, theoretical analysis,questionnaire investigation, interviews are applied in related data collection and analysis.Besides, statistical software like Spss and Excel are used to process and analyze thosedata, by which comes the result. Finally, some suggestions and countermeasures havebeen put forward according to6non-intellectual factors from geography learninginterest, learning motive, learning habits, learning emotion, learning will and the valueof learning based on study conclusions and interview result. Conclusions are as follows:1. In general, the non-intellectual factors in high school students of Grade1is averagelevel, however, it is not very high and still need to be improved.2. The score of alldimensions in geography learning level of non-intellectual factors of high schoolstudents in Grade1is B+, which has a large space to promote.3. All non-intelligencefactors and non-intelligence levels of boys’ are higher than those of girls’(except girls’geography learning habits are higher than boys’); other non-intelligence factors andoverall intelligence factors are significantly different.The structure of this study mainly can be divided into the following four parts:1).Raising questions. Reading the literature, analyze the domestic and internationalresearch on the status of non-intelligence factors, including non-intelligence influenceon students, as well as the non-intelligence factor research in home, finally, the authorputs forward the research purpose and the significance, the research methods and ideas.2).It summarizes the current research situation and research results of non-intelligence factors, which contributes to the dimension of this research. What’smore, it discusses the basic theory of non-intelligence factors, including the theoreticalfoundations of psychology and pedagogy theory.3).Firstly, it discusses the development of China’s non-intelligence measurementtool, and works it out. Through investigating and collecting data, analyzing from6dimensions, the author comes to the result about non-intellectual factors in seniormiddle school geography teaching.4).According to the research result, the author puts forward some measures such as1. Help students to develop interest in geography study;2. Construct an equalrelationship between teachers and students;3. Help students to establish a well beingstudying habit in geography;4. Help students to set their confidence and strengthentheir will to learn;5. Guide students to set a correct study motivation;6. Guide studentsto set correct geographical values.
