As a knowledge-intensive industry, electrical industry has a large demand forwell-educated human resources. Electrical industry contains two main branches, which areelectricity and electronics. The electrical machinery is a typical representative in the field ofelectricity education.In the past century, China has established a characteristic industrial education systemfor electrical machinery industry. In the system, textbooks played a very important role. Aswe know, textbooks are the basis of knowledge in the education process, thus it is valuableto study the evolution and history of textbooks in the past100years.This essay tries to discover the industrial education regulation through textbooks.Specifically, I try to discover the rules of evolution by finding out the history of electricalmachinery textbooks in the past century. Thus we can have a clearer view of high levelindustrial education when facing the new revolution brought by Internet in the future.
