Comparative Study Of Offense Team China And Top Four Rivals In 26,27 FIBA Asia Champion

The Asian men’s Basketball Championships is the highest level of competition in Asia, from 1960 to 2013, held a total of 27, the first time in 1975 Chinese team in the men’s Basketball Championships, Team China has participated in 20 sessions and got 15 Championships, Chinese Asian men’s basketball team has been the overlord in very long period of time. In recent years, with the rise of West Asia basketball teams, Chinese team is losing the advantage of traditional, Chinese team in 2013 Philippines Asian Championship won only fifth. The research of this paper by the method of literature, video observation, mathematical statistics, questionnaire and logical analysis of nearly two Asian men’s Basketball Championships, Chinese Men’ s basketball team and the opponent’s offense ability, draw the following conclusions:1. Compared physical condition of the Chinese basketball team in 26th Asia Championship with the top four rivals, Chinese centers and forwards’ average age is the smallest, it is obvious advantage. The Chinese players use catch and jump shoot most, shooting near basket and inside the three-point line is more than the top four rivals, free throw and free throw percentage is better than them. The players of the top four rivals use dribble and pull-up shot most.2. The offensive rebounds, secondary offense, turnovers, fast break, cover, break-pass, cutting-pass and pivot of Chinese team is better than the Korean team and the Philippines team, weaker than the Jordanian team. Assist ability is weaker than the top four rivals.3. The age of Team China is the youngest and the age structure is unreasonable in 27th Philippines Asian Championship. Chinese players use dribble and pull-up shot most, shooting near basket and inside the three-point line is reduced, three-point shooting is increased but percentage is reduced.4. Compared score stability in every quarter of 27th Team China with 26th, it is reduced, turnovers and cover is more, but cover quality is very bad with high failure rate. Assist ability is weaker than Team Iran.
