It’s highly emphasized to highlight the absolutely dominated teacher’ role in traditional senior politics classroom and it’s also universally existed about duck feeding teaching style or cramming teaching way. The negative impact based on it results in the ignorance and dislike from students which will gradually ignore their personally developmental potentials owing to the effect of distrust from learning or implementation from knowing the actual facts. However, experiential teaching based on students-centered offers learners colorful teaching situation with purposes of generating and understanding knowledge and acquiring and developing abilities and sharing and promoting healthy emotions by way of constant exploration and multi-elementally interactional exchange channel. This can satisfy both theoretical and practical needs from the point of the new round curriculum reform because it’s likely, on the one hand, to eradicate the passive influence from duck feeding teaching style and it, on the other hand, will probably achieve the teaching objective of quality education from the course. So, the writer is attempt to study the application of experiential teaching model into the course of ‘Economic Life’.This paper offers an introduction to the fundamental theories of experiential teaching, defines its basic definition, points out its theoretical basis and analyzes the basic characteristics. At the meantime, from the perspectives of the concept of new curriculum reform, the property of ideological and political subjects and the textbook and practical teaching needs of Economic Life, it also sets forth the necessity of realistic significance of applying experiential teaching to Economic Life in high school, further proposes the preparation strategies and analyzes the specific implementation of experiential teaching. At last, the author also reflects on the experiential teaching of Economic Life in high school on the basis of the specific teaching practice. The experiential teaching of Economic Life should be made inclusive and open; it serves as the necessary condition for the effective implementation of experiential teaching to take full note of the individual difference of students and the harmony and order of classroom.
