The important effects of the Classical Chinese teaching in middle school are achieved on the following aspects, that is the only way to know more about the ancient society. But the teaching method of today’s Classical teaching is out of date, it’s regarded as a hindrance to improve the Classical Chinese teaching. With the development of New Curriculum, the teachers and students are eager to have a promotion to Chinese teaching.On the basis of Cognitive and learning theory, sort out the theory materials about the teaching method, choose some materials about Chinese teaching method and Classical teaching method, and some personal practice materials are chosen, discuss further about the theory and practical level. In this paper, the content of middle school Classical Chinese are classified, listed traditional teaching method. Give an impartial comment about it. Choose some popular teaching methods, find out some practical examples, give some suggestions to Classical teaching.In the first part of this thesis, listed some phenomenon of today’s Classical Chinese lessons, find out the mainly reason to cause this. And listed traditional teaching methods.In the second part, Classical Chinese of middle school text book are classified in different categories. Sort out the emphasis on different categories. It also attached some class examples.In the last part, Listed some complementary methods to improve Classical Chinese teaching.
