| After a fierce battle lasted for several days,the 17 th World Women’s Volleyball Championship came to an end on October 13,2014 in Milan,Italy. Unfortunately, the girls lost out to their rival, American team in the final, but this is the best result Chinawomen’s volleyball team achieved in the last four World Women’s Volleyball Championships.This year, the girls’ performance was remarkable. What they showed is not only their balanced attack and defense technology but also their spirit of fighting in unity with courage, which left us a deep impression, and the China women’s volleyball team steps into the first-class group of World Women’s Volleyball teams again. During the whole series, the most impressed game is turning the game around in the semi-final with the Italian team. In the end,good result of runner-up also injected a real shot in the arm of stressed China women’s volleyball team.This article makes a comparison of main attack and defense technical index of China women’s volleyball team and their rival teams in the series by the methods of document literature and mathematical statistics. The result shows:1. Compared with the rival teams, the Chinese team is the youngest one among them, the average age is only 23.29(y).In this tournament, characteristics of their age is showed: brave, agility and stamina. But there were also a series of deficiencies like vulnerable psychological endurance, inadequate experience and instability of performance.2. Chinese team was in the dry tree of serve. Compared with the rival teams, both success rate of serving a ball and service ace capacity are all at a lower middle level. Mostly, Chinese team stood to serve, and the capacity of jumping to serve is no match for the rival teams.3. The Chinese team in the receiving and pick up these two ball is a world leading level, especially receiving this link, the stability of the receiving guarantees for the attacks.4. Power spike is also the soft spot of the Chinese team, and both usage rate and scoring ability are on the low side.Fast attack is the tactic Chinese team likes and be skilled at, and no matter using frequency or score are all better than the rival team. More importantly, Chinese team controlled mistakes within a reasonable range.Back row attack can enrich the attack tactics system. The Chinese team gained an ideal result of back row attack, and the scoring rate of back row attack reached 50%. Back row attack got 1.89 points in each game on average.5. In this year’s world championships, effective blocking rate of Chinese team and the numbers of time are above the average level. But the in failure control is not good enough.For the above situation, here are relevant comments and suggestions:1. Attaching importance to factors of strength quality and physical confrontation in aspects of selection and post-training. Also pay attention to exercises of movement speed and flexibility.2. By means of usual training and competition, to train psychological state of athletes as a target and to increase their psychological endurance, metal ability to regulate and control and competition experience.3. To strengthen practice of basic skills, especially serve technology. To increase different methods of serve and the diversity and pertinence of falling point. To increase practice of jumping serve.4. By means of increasing the strengthening exercises and developing self-confidence, to enhance practice of power spike. To encourage the athletes to choose and use, in order to enrich the tactical system.5. On the basis of maintain the success rate of back row attack, to increase back row attack times, and to enrich the diversity and selectivity of attacking tactics system.6. To detail practice of blocking and to put intime and energy in targeted blocking and failure control. |
