The massive open online course (MOOC),which takes the micro-course for unit, as a free, open and online learning model for public, has been widely accepted by people. It plays an important role in the reformation and innovation of education. And the use of virtual reality technology in education has become more and more mature, it has been widely used in simulation, training, chemistry experiment etc. The project is based on modern education conception, and focuses on how to combine the virtual reality technology with MOOC teaching mode to realize a kind of MOOC platform which can imitate a real learning environment.With a deeply analysis of current educational model, virtual reality technology and widely survey of educational resources, the research topic that combine virtual reality and MOOC is established. Through the research of key technologies of developing virtual reality systems, some interrelated technologies are improved with the specific features of MOOC virtual learning platform. For the research on collision detection technology, to realize a kind of more realistic, immersive and interactive collision detection for users in the virtual reality, the complex objects are decomposed and an empty object is added for each decomposed object; By developing the existing Chinese segmentation technology and analyzing the requirement of the automatic answering model of the virtual interaction system, the maximum matching word segmentation algorithm is chosen as the basic algorithm to extract key words of the question On the basis of the traditional algorithm, an improved Chinese segmentation algorithm, which contains the pre segmentation, segmentation based on TRIE index tree of segmentation dictionary and weighing the weight of the words, is designed; On the process of data retrieval with key words, the strategy of using weights of priority query keywords is put forward, based on the traditional fuzzy query on the database. The greater the weight is, the higher querying priority of the keyword is. Finally, the algorithm is applied in the automatic answering module to improve the quality and performance of the question answering.According to the research, design and development of MOOC virtual interaction center, web crawler technology is used to get the education resources of MOOC course, which will be embedded into the MOOC virtual interaction center. This system takes advantages of the immersion, interaction and imagination brought by the virtual reality technology to make the learner more interested. It helps people to understand and master what they learned through an amusement way and recovers the insufficient of the existing MOOC teaching mode. Besides, it enhances interaction and timeliness in the learning process. It is not only an innovative improvement of existing MOOC teaching mode, but also a bold experiment by applying modem science and technology in education.
