Talent is the key resources of the nations competition in today and future, the competition between countries in the final analysis is the talent competition. Agriculture and forestry fields as the key areas of strategic development in our country, the demand for professional talents especially Top-notch innovation talents is increasingly impendency. But in reality, there are some problems in undergraduate talents training in universities and colleges of agricultural and forestry in our country, resulting in the lack of reserve resources of the field of top-notch innovative personnel, top-notch innovative personnel training encounter obstacles. Therefore, top-notch innovative talents growth rule induction and which can be operation experience to undergraduate talents training links, will be more conducive to the growth of talents in the field of agriculture and forestry.Based on the above research background, this research based on the inland and abroad related literature material for theoretical guidance, it made a conception definition on the field of agriculture and forestry, top creative talents, growth pattern and undergraduate education reform. And the Top-notch innovation talents was defined as high level, less quantity, higher comprehensive quality and possessed the spirit and ability of innovation. They are the benchmark in their fields, and they have a strong sense of responsibility. They were able to lead the team to make a great contribution for the social development, national prosperity, human progress, and they are the leading domestic and international influence. And affirmed that there existed certain commonness and universality in their growth proceed, and this made a strong guiding significance to the undergraduate talents training courses.Secondly, to clear defined the basic features of the top-notch innovation talents, this paper make a study of the growth course of 40 member of national academician who were major in Agriculture and forestry fields. And on this basic, the paper summarized the main internal and external influence factors in the process of talent, which involves six factors of family environment, education background, research environment, ages, intelligence factors and non-intelligence factors. According to this, the paper reveal four types of top-notch innovation talents growth regularity, which put forward more targeted Suggestions and advice For the reform of undergraduate talent training.Thirdly, this paper based on the HuaZhong agricultural university as an example, in the form of a questionnaire survey to understand the present situation of undergraduate talents cultivation in Agriculture and forestry fields. It is found that there existed a too strict teaching management, poor personalized management, low recognition degree of student life management, unreasonable discipline and curriculum arrangement, and the teaching method flexibility were worse. This paper studies suggest that family background had a greater influence on the students major selection; Interest is an important factor influencing talent growth. The growth course and growth regularity of agriculture, forestry and field talents will become the important reference to solve the problem of talent cultivate.In order to further introspect the problems in the process of undergraduate cultivation in our agriculture and forestry colleges. By means of comparing the characteristic of agriculture and forestry field undergraduate talent cultivation course in Cornell university and university of Illinois at urbana-champaign, this paper summarized the experience of talent cultivation on the aspects of student services, curriculum system construction, teachers’ teaching methods. Basic on this, this paper except to provides the reference to our undergraduate talents cultivation innovation in Agriculture and forestry fields.Finally, his study, from the angle of administrative department for education, agriculture and forestry colleges, agriculture and forestry colleges teachers and its colleges students, make some suggestions to the field of agriculture and forestry undergraduate education reform and top-notch innovation talent cultivation.
