The Research To Preschoolers’ Physical Activity Of Nanjing Sport Institute With Accelerometer And Questionnaire

Obj ective:To get the preschoolers’PA obj ective data of the Kindergarten in Nanjing Sport Institute as example and to obtain PA related influencing factors through the questionnaire, compare the difference between different gender and grade in physical activity.Method:Using Actigraph GT3X+to obtain data of 70 preschoolers’PA, PA questionnaire were complete by parents. Using ActiLife to obtain PA date and using SAS JMP to processing and analyze the data.Result:There’s no statistical difference between boys’and girls’PA (P>0.05).VPA of the top class in the kindergarten (24.1min/d) has statistical difference with middle class (17.2min/d),but there’s no statistical difference in SB、LPA and MPA. The preschoolers’LPA、MPA、 VPA of weekday are 50.7min/d 38.9min/d and 17.8min/d, the LPA、 MPA、VPA of weekly are 69.9min/d、59.9min/d and 25.5min/d, the PA of weekday is significantly lower than PA of weekly (P<0.05).To do the comparison between boys and girls, there is no significant difference between weekdays PA and weekends PA. To do the comparison between the top class and middle class, there’s significant difference in VPA of weekday. According to the different BMI groups, overweight children’s MPA of weekday (41.9 min/d) was significantly lower than the weekend 60.1 min/d) (P< 0.05), there is no differences among obesity group, MPA and VPA of weekday (38.9,18.1 min min/d/d) is lower than the weekend (59.8,25.7 min min/d/d) in normal group, there has significant differences (P< 0.05). the LPA of senior class was 54.85 min/d, slightly larger than middle class, it’s statistically significant (P< 0.05).There is no significant effect on preschoolers’physical activity in exercise habits; media consumption time has no association with physical activity; sports facilities and sports support of parents has significantly association with SB (P< 0.05).Transportation and living habits are not related to physical activity.Conclusion:There’s almost no difference of physical activity levels in preschool children among different gender, grade and BMI level; the PA of weekday is lower than PA of weekly; exercise habits and different active objects has association with preschoolers’SB; transportation, media consumption time, family environment and life style have no obvious impact on preschoolers’physical activity levels, more factors need further study.
