With the development of the quality education, the focus of teaching has shifted gradually from teaching to learning. The“electromagnetic induction” is not only the key content in the 3-2 book of high school physics but also the most difficult part for teaching and learning. Therefore, it is very significant to further explore students’ learning effectiveness in this part.Combining with the curriculum standard of high school physics, the content of the teaching material of electromagnetic induction was analyzed and studied in this paper, and the electromagnetic induction was analyzed from aspects such as key concepts, regulation, relevant experiment and application; diagnostic test concerning“electromagnetic induction” was designed on the basis of above theoretical analysis. Two-stage diagnostic test was conducted for students. Through the statistics and analysis of the diagnosis, provide some reference value for the further improvement of the teaching on electromagnetic induction. Therefore, the pertinency and effectiveness of teaching can be improved.
