Vocational students did not receive college education, they often in a relatively weak position in their future ‘s work and lives, therefore have more psychological distress. The study aim to training hope trait of vocational students, and promote their hope levels, and thus enhance the vocational students’ mental health, and pursuit a happy life. However, previous studies did not have a hope training program applied to vocational students, this article will design an effective hope training program to promote vocational students hope qualities.The empirical part of this research includes three aspects. Firstly, to carry out the questionnaire survey on 570 secondary vocational students and 480 ordinary middle school students with "hope quality questionnaire scale" and "actively develop questionnaire" and compare the difference in hope trait and positive level between them;Secondly, to make up a training plan of secondary vocational students, two months, 8 courses, select the 49 students in the experimental class as objects, and analyse the training results. Thirdly, to study longitudinally based on the second and measure them again to find out if the delayed effect exists, two months later after the training ending.The results of this study indicate that(1)compared with ordinary high school students, the development of secondary vocational school students’ hope quality and positive quality is lag.(2)students’ hope quality is closely related to their positive quality, and the level of their positive quality could be predicted by the level of hope quality.(3)the level of secondary vocational school students’ hope quality have a greater effect on their positive quality than ordinary high school students.(4) the hope quality educational training courses for secondary vocational students could improve the level of hope quality and positive quality, therefore, the training plan is effective.(5) the hope quality and positive quality educational training courses for secondary vocational students not only have effect in time, but also have a delayed effect.
