| This paper consists of four parts, namely the introduction part, the traditional wedding customs of Harqin Mongol, the characteristics and changes of the wedding customs of Harqin Mongol, and the conclusion.The introduction includes the research status, research significance, research method and a historical review of the Harqin Mongol and Ningcheng Mongol.Chapter One mainly introduces the customs of establishing the marital relations and that of the wedding, and matters following the wedding ceremonies, such as the selecting of the wife, entertaining of the matchmaker, response to the marital proposal, establishing of the marital relations, selecting of the wedding day, informing of the wedding day, delivering of the invitation, etc.Chapter Two is an analysis of the unique characteristics of traditional Harqin wedding ceremonies and its changes, specifically, the special customs seen in the traditional Harqin wedding, the change of customs and the reasons, the increasing financial burden of the wedding, etc.In the concluding part, the author gives his own insights to the phenomenon stated in Chapter One and Chapter Two. |
