Probability statistics is a scientific study of random phenomenon. It provides the people with important thinking model and solution of people. Modern society is information times. Probability statistics is seen everywhere. Thus probability statistics need the needs of society. According to National curriculum in 2003, there are some changes in contents and purposes:to let students learn the probability statistics at compulsory educational stage by analyzing actual situation, studying random sampling, sampling evaluation and linear regression:to let students evaluate the whole by sample:to let students go through the whole process of data collection:to let students know the differences between probability minds and certain mind:probability statistics is a knowledge of the future citizen. There is a must to study the probability statistics.To implement the new national curriculum, " High School Standard Curriculum(A). math" offer several " reading and thinking " parts. As a complement of main contents, it enrich the probability statistics in the text books, reflect the actual connection among the daily lives, natural science, modern society and scientific knowledge field. It also provides the students and teachers with useful curriculum resources. The center problem of using " reading and thinking " in probability statistics as well. However, the reality is different. The main contents of " reading and thinking" in probability statistics are always ignored. Therefore, the thesis first is to improve teachers’ teaching effect under the background of "reading and thinking". Second, the thesis wants to promote students’learning effectiveness of learning. Third, it wants to explore how to realize its largest value. The thesis contains three parts:The first part is consisted of two sections. It mainly discuss the purpose and meaning of study, study both at home and abroad, study procedures, the study measure, the content analysis of " thinking and reading" in probability statistics.The second part is the third section of the thesis. It examine the teachers and students using the "reading and thinking" during the learning process. The thesis analyzes the entire questionnaire’s result.1.Recognition and attitude about "reading and thinking" in probability statistics.2.Result analysis of using "reading and thinking" in probability statistics. The third part contains the fourth and the fifth sections. The two sections offer concrete teaching example and use the "reading and thinking" in probability statistics to improve teaching efficiency. At last, it shows the summary of study. Only teachers and students make full use of "reading and thinking", will the teaching efficiency definitely improve.
