On the basis of consulting a large number of literature, this article analyzes the content of oxidation reduction calculation from textbooks compulsory1, compulsory2 and optional 4 of high school chemistry. Aimed at the existed problems in current high school chemistry oxidation and reduction calculation in teaching, the article states that the oxidation reduction calculation teaching should be divided into two stages, which are the compulsory stage(compulsory1 and compulsory2) and optional stage(optional4). Specific teaching strategies are put forward according to the two stages,and teaching practice of four classes in No. 1 middle school in Inner Mongolia XinganMeng Keyouqianqi is carried out. some meaningful results are obtained as followed:Compulsory stage:The answer from the experimental class and the control class shows that through the concept map teaching strategy training, the answer of experimental class is much better when compared with the corresponding control class, which illustrates that the construction of redox reaction concept map is one of the main factors affecting the chemical calculation.Therefore, teachers should timely detect and correct the students’ conceptual errors, and solve the calculation problem of the reduction reaction and oxidation fundamentally and thoroughly. Whether the Redox reaction can be applied to the original battery skillfully is the key to solving the simple calculation of primary battery. Through the effective teaching strategy training in the simple application of redox reaction in primary battery, the situation of experimental class has greatly increased, compared with control class.Optional stage:From the answer of aftertest, the experimental class and the control class always have various problems in writing reaction equations before conservation strategies training, While after some effective teaching strategy training, the experimental class writing is much better than that of the control class, which will lay a good foundation for the latter electrochemical calculation. For instance, students can judge the questions according to the electron balance and atomic number conservation.The calculation problem of electrochemical basis is more complex, so it is very important for students to extract effective information from the questions rapidly and accurately. Teaching strategies training like, "the contact of real life, breakthrough of cognitive impairment and problem-solving skills" are of vital importance in helping students to grasp the knowledge points and question, which can assist teachers to check on“quality” and control the “quantity”. So the answers of the students in the experimental class has greatly increased improved, compared with the control classIn a word, through the implementation of teaching strategy at different stages, the experimental class has greatly improved, compared with the control class. Besides, the interest in calculation of redox reactions learning,learning initiative, calculating ability and learning attitude of them are all significantly improved than those of the control class students.
