Reading and reading teaching has a long history in china. Classical Chinese poetry has a superior position and glorious history in the history of ancient literature Chinese. With the development of society and history, classical poetry has become the outstanding cultural heritage of our country. In order to further the implementation of quality education, promote junior high school students’ language literacy, stimulate their learning and inheriting the excellent traditional culture of China interest, strengthen junior middle school classical poetry reading teaching research is essential.Classical poetry is an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture, is an important carrier of national spirit and emotion. Classical poetry in a harmonious rhythm, very suitable for reading. With the demand for spiritual culture, classical poetry has been paid more and more attention. How to make students love and very fruitful to recite classical poetry, which is the problem to be discussed.This paper is divided into five parts: the introduction introduces the history of classical poetry, classical poetry and introduced in classical poetry teaching, puts forward the research topic; the first chapter mainly introduces the related concepts of reading and classical poetry, as well as the important significance of reading classical poetry; in the second chapter the investigation of middle school classical poetry teaching aspect, through analysis and comparison, presents the problems in teaching; the third chapter analyzes the existing junior high school classical poetry teaching, explore the reasons for the formation of these problems; the fourth chapter in view of the existing junior high school classical poetry teaching and the crux of the problem, research on solutions.
