With the advancing of the society, education concept is deeply rooted among the people. The concept of education changing destiny has been generally recognized by both the city and the poor mountain village. Since countries attaching importance to the development of higher education, enrollment expansion of colleges and universities, the grown of college students, the number of poor students is also increasing. Therefore, completing the succor work has very important role both to the country and the colleges.This paper analyses the succor work for poverty-stricken students in higher vocational college, from a different perspective to study various problems and analysis. The paper states the specific content of succor system in higher vocational college, including scholarships, loans, grants, difficult allowance, tuition relief and so on, trying to discover problems and find reasons. There are many differences between higher vocational college and undergraduate course colleges and universities in school-running idea, teachers, students’ quality, etc. this paper try to compare these differences by observing the succor work of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and analysis and study the present situation and problems, and explore the optimization channel. Hope to help the higher vocational college students to improve ability. At the same time explore the psychological relief channels, due to relatively small research and solution for poor students in the psychological and spiritual poverty. From two aspects of spiritual and material, it can really help to the poor students in essence. At the same time, by continuously exploring to strengthen this work, the more people will pay attention to the problems, so that more poor students could get help.
