College ideological and political education work for college students,which is aimed at improving the comprehensive quality of collegestudents, especially the practice of the ideological and political quality.The effectiveness of the ideological and political education directlyrepresents the improvement of students’ comprehensive quality and theinfluence on the society. In present, expanding the ideological andpolitical education work of the radiation and influence, enhancing itssocial reputation, need a innovative way.This paper is based on the research of brand theory, from the level ofideological and political education work of the brand research, tointegrate the ideological and political education theory with the brandtheory, to analyze feasibility of the ideological and political educationwork of brand operation.In this article, on the basis of brand theory, this paper expounds theconnotation of the brand of the ideological and political education, toresearch the characteristics of college students’ ideological and political education work, to analyze the integration of college students’ ideologicaland the theory of brand integration,which laid a solid theoretical basis forthe following development. From the perspective of theory and practice,and connecting with the actual situation, it analyzes the successfulexperience of brand creation and the reason of existing problems in thecollege students’ ideological and political education work.After analyzingthe principle and characteristics of ideological and political educationwork in the brand, based on the relevant theory of ideological andpolitical education work branding, this study analyzes overall strategy ofthe brand creation from the value of the brand positioning, brand buildingand brand promotion of the "three steps".
