In order to meet the different needs of the students of geographical study, the set of elective module become a major bright spot. At the same time, the college entrance examination program that adapt to the new curriculum is put out, adding elective module test is high-profile, it has played an important role in stimulating students interest in learning, cultivating innovative thinking ability and making the quality education come true.Jiangxi province began to use new standard volume in 2011,that elective module questions appear in the test paper has caused close the attention of the majority of teachers, students and parents.Taking basic idea of new geography curriculum reform as the guiding ideology, and basing on the analysis of the characteristics of Jiangxi province college entrance examination geography elective module test questions,the study focus on using SOLO classification evaluation method to analyze students answer status summary, to understand a student problem solving problems and to discuss affecting factors combined with the questionnaire survey, and then put forward improvement strategy of the college entrance examination geography elective module. Thus this research mainly includes the following several parts:The first part: The analysis of the new curriculum college entrance examination geography elective module test in Jiangxi province. Then analyzes why students lose points to put forward targeted teaching Suggestions. Finally combining questionnaire to discuss the reason of affecting elective module implementation, According to the survey, the main reason are bottlenecks of qualified teachers, and teachers and students do not take the backward, traditional teaching methods, the restriction of the university entrance exam, etc. Among them, the college entrance examination is one of the biggest constraints.The third part: The improvement strategy recommendations of the new curriculum college entrance examination elective module in Jiangxi province. On the basis of previous analysis, the study mainly Put forward the advice in college entrance examination elective module test design, proposition thought, scoring methods and standards, such as increasing the quantity and the score of the university entrance exam elective module; balancing item difficulty, more advocating openness,perfecting the assessment mechanism, optimizing the scoring method, etc., Then the study put forward the corresponding teaching Suggestions that aim at the problems in teaching, thus to promote the effective implementation of the high school geography courses in Jiangxi province.
