Mathematics pedagogical content knowledge(MPCK), as the most influencing factor of teachers’ professional knowledge, it also influences the instructional design at the same time. But in many influencing factors of instructional design, it is worth being exploring what are the influence of MPCK to instructional design. Therefore, this study explores the influence of MPCK to instructional design.This paper, with a pre-service teacher as the research object, adopting the comparison method, analyzing and comparing MPCK in different stages from subject matter knowledge, students’ knowledge, teaching strategy knowledge, curriculum knowledge and educational belief dimensions. The instructional designs in different periods are developed and compared on the basis of them. At last exploring the influence of MPCK to instructional design in the same stage.So this study sets the questions: 1.What is change of MPCK in different stages? 2. What are the changes of instructional design in different periods? 3. What’s the influence of MPCK to instructional design? And we draw the following conclusions: 1.Though the pre-service teachers’ MPCK developed, but it isn’t balance. 2. Though the perfect degree of instructional design that bases on the MPCK is improved, but there are some problems. 3. MPCK affects many aspects of instructional design.Therefore, put forward the following suggestions: 1.The pre-service teachers must pay attention to the balanced development of MPCK. 2.The pre-service teachers must pay attention to the case study. 3. The pre-service teachers must nurture the good reflective habit 4.The normal university must increase the chance of contacting and understanding students for pre-service teachers. 5. Teachers can set the teaching goals with act verbs.
