People not only have the life of species, but also have the life of kind. The life of kind distinguish human from animal,and point to the people’s spiritual life. That is to say, people not only meet the natural life, but also constantly transcend the natural life and ask the meaning of life. The meaning of life is the spiritual home of human existence, and is the basis for people to settle down and get on with people’s pursuit. Exploring the meaning of life is to care life for people.Pupils are in the starting stage of life. Attention to pupil’s life meaning determines the pupil’s existence, life and the direction of development. From the real life of pupils, combined with the characteristics of pupils themselves,this paper argues that the elementary student’s life meaning is,based on their current experiences, mainly to realize their harmonious development of self virtue and creative generation of life wisdom in a way of conforming to their life activities.However,both inside and outside the classroom,the pupil’s living state is worrying.The concrete manifestations are:too much emphasis on scores and the primary school students’life existence is neglected; emphasizing knowledge instead of wisdom.pupils’spirituality gradually lost;the pupil’s virtue appear inharmonic dual personality and alienation seriously; deep in knowledge learning abyss and lacking basic self-care ability, and pupil’s study are out of the world of life. Investigate its reason, The covering of primary school student’s meaning of life is related to several disadvantages in current education. First of all, the instrumentalization of education makes the primary school student learning tools and the means for somebodies to acquiring interests.Secondly, the possession of knowledge teaching neglected pupil’s wisdom.Primary school students are cognitive for knowledge but lack of understanding, or understanding but no generation and beyond.Thirdly, virtue cultivation pays attention to the rational cognition,ignoring emotional internalization, and pays attention to moral discipline, ignoring the emotional experience. These one-sided education lead that pupils appeared separation of knowledge and practice, and dual personality. Finally, the present education is also a kind of separate education.It separated the pupils’ current life from their future life, and the pupils’ scientific world from life world, affecting the overall formation and development of the primary school students. Therefore, education should take pupil’s life meaning as the driving force, returning to the pupils’ life and basing on pupils’current life, and care their life emotion, and advocate life understanding.Only in this way can we promote the harmonious development of pupils’moral and open their life wisdom.
