Study On The Process Of University Cultural Development Since China’s Reform And Opening Up

As a piece of soil of civilization, the formation and overflow of university civilization both stem from university culture.university itself is a kind of social organization which to be responsible for choosing,criticizing,inheriting and creating human culture,and university is also the important carrier of spreading outstanding culture and the important source of bringing forth new ideas.Since China’s Reform and Opening up,university culture has made a great contribution on spreading our country’s outstanding culture,at the same time,university culture has also played a huge rule on talents cultivation,school managing,even on strengthening country.The construction of university culture is no longer the slogan which is only advocated,But has risen to national strategic height,has been the important channel and means to promote prosperity of socialist culture and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.As the construction of university culture has played a important role in the development of China’s higher education,this paper aims to research on the process of university culture construction, applying documentary method,the unification of logic and historicity theoretical analysis method,carrying out research mainly based on the problems as follows:How the university culture effect on the talents cultivating and university managing. Since China’s Reform and Opening up, which important processes have the construction of university experienced, what are the special background and characteristics of university construction,what are the experiences and shortages. How the thoughts of university culture has evolved,and what are the problems that needs to be noticed in the university construction in new times. According to study,the conclusion of this paper are as follows:the process of university development has experienced three key phases.Construction of campus culture was paid more attention to from the middle and later of 1980s to the middle of 1990s,and culture quality education was paid more attention to from the middle of 1990s to the beginning of 2000s, and from the beginning of 2000s, construction of university culture was paid more attention to. Based on the development of university culture,refining and summarizing the formation and development of idea of university culture in China since Reform and Opening up. Discussed and refined the thoughts of educating people with university culture, managing university by university culture,and strengthening country by university culture.at the end of this paper, the author thought in the construction of socialist culture country,the construction of university culture should be strengthened as a mainstream consciousness through running through the construction of university culture and the whole process of the development of higher education, so that to promote the construction of cultural country.
