Research On Universities’ Financial Information Disclosure

While China presents the good development trend, universities also step into an upward trend of development. It helps universities make many achievements, however, some problems have been exposed, especially economic corruption cases occur in recent years frequently, the financial problems have become the most prominent problem, the main reason of this is that the financial information is not transparent. In the year of 2010, the ministry of education established relevant system to demand the universities to disclose their financial information, but from current situation, the universities fail to come up to the requirements. Except lacking initiative of disclosure, lacking the standards of universities’financial information disclosure is a more important reason, which leads to the universities are lack of good frame of reference. Therefore, it is necessary to study the universities’financial information disclosure.The author bases on the practice to study. Firstly, the author introduce the basic concept and relevant theory to laid the theoretical foundation; secondly, the author use sample analysis to analysis the current disclosure condition, explain the results, problems and the reasons; then, the author analyze America, England and Hong Kong universities’financial information disclosure condition and draw on their successful experience; last, on the basis of above research, as the innovation points of this paper, the author put forward the design of universities’financial information disclosure, design disclosure content, method and organization, and put forward the safeguard measures, which may help the universities’ financial information disclosure.
