The domestic primary and secondary school mathematics textbook of each version compared with some developed countries for curriculum has become a hotspot problem in the research of the mathematics education, in this context, the research results of the mathematics textbook comparison of China and some developed countries such as America, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands are becoming more and more rich.After literature collection, I found that the comparative reserches of the domestic ordinary high school mathematics teaching material and the international school mathematics teaching material comparative research are not much, so the author compared the geometry of the A versions of People’s education press to the IBDP higher level mathematics textbook of IBID press.The author analyzes the geometric part of two sets of teaching materials, from the macroscopic and microscopic, macro of two sets of teaching materials is divided into the overall design features comparison and geometry content arrangement comparison, micro of two sets of teaching materials is divided into two sets of textbook knowledge structure comparison and example comparison difficult comparison. After macro comparison we found that the geometry content of the A versions textbook including three parts of solid geometry(synthesis), analytic geometry and vector, but IBID versions contain only vector. In order to the concept map, carries on the comparison to the knowledge structure of two sets of textbook, the study found that the number of nodes, group blocks on difference of this two sets of textbook is not obvious, the depth and HSS difference is more apparent, and the total number of width, cross coupling is significant difference. By the comprehensive difficult math model for the tool, to analyze the difficulty of the 90 samples of the two sets of textbook,we found that math comprehensive difficulty of the examples of IBID edition textbook is greater than the examples of the A version, but the comprehensive difficulty value of two sets of textbook is not big difference.The author detailed introduces the theoretical basis, development, application, improvement and so on of the concept map and math comprehensive difficulty model in chronological order, which results can provide convenience for those people who would like to know about these two tools, and provide reference for the study of the two kinds of tools in the future. The articles about comparison showed A version and the high level mathematics textbook of IBID version for geometry content are very few, and the comparison of the two sets of textbook can provide reference for teaching reform in our country, this is good for us to keep advantages, overcome the disadvantages, absorbing the merits of others. Introducing the high level mathematics textbook of international school for ordinary high school mathematics teachers to provide an opportunity to get to know the international courses and teaching materials.
