A Study On Development Strategy Of Chinese University Basketball League

In recent years, basketball develops rapidly in our universities. At present there are two national college basketball tournaments, Chinese university student basketball league (CUBA) and China university basketball super league (CUBS). Under the influence of Chinese education system and the traditional way of fostering the excellent athlete, the development of CUBA and CUBS has gradually deviate from the established goals, there are many problems during the development of college basketball league in China. In order to change the backward situation of campus basketball in our country in nowadays. FUSC, put forward the "four leagues" development plan after long-term research, which requires effective integration of the existing resources of college basketball league, and propose the strategy of development about basketball league.To achieve optimized development of basketball league, this paper uses method of literature, expert interview method, questionnaire to investigate, logical analysis and data statistics method, this paper analyzes the current development situation of the two games, to pointed out the factors restricted the development of basketball leagues and the difference between CUBA and CUBS. Then puts forward some countermeasures for sustainable development. The conclusion of this study were shown as follows:(1) Now,there is competition between CUBA and CUBS, without a experienced management team. (2) Too few media attention lead the shortage in commercial value and the deficiency of league income. (3) Teams participate in CUBA have few match, the level of competitive disparity about different teams is big; number of teams in CUBS is too few, lack of influence in society, and two leagues have smaller contribution to professional basketball. (4) Two leagues require very different qualifications about players, and there is no requirements and improvement of players in academic records. (5) The appointing of coach in basketball leagues is unreasonable, without high teaching level and experience. Leagues lack of a scientific appraising system of coach. (6) Proposes the development strategy of basketball league based on the principle of sustainable including social sustainable development, environmentally sustainable development, and economy sustainable development.The suggestions about Development of Chinese university basketball league are made based on the findings in this paper:firstly, building the mode of sustainable development of Chinese university basketball league, guiding future development direction of league, improving the level of competition; secondly, increasing policy assurance and pay more attention to "the combination of sports and education" work to cultivate and bring up college student athletes. Thirdly, gradually cultivate the college sports market to Increase the attraction of college basketball league and commercial value, which aim to attract business investment to the league and ensure the sustainable development of the league of universities.
