CDN technology is first mentioned at 2005, and matured after several years of development.It has a significant role in improving the service quality of the streaming media content and saving the bandwidth of network backbone, which makes the CDN technology have been more widely used at home and abroad.In order to reduce high rent costs, it has significant importance to build a high controllable, stable, easy to manage and matain CDN system to adapt to the distance learning platform.In this paper, by researching and analysising the distance learning platform, and in-depth studying and researching the CDN technology development status and the actual needs of today’s network distance learning platform, we designed a optimized CDN network to meet the requirements of a specific distance learning platform, which is different from the classic CDN architecture.We do a test to the design of CDN by setting a virtual environment.Finally, the work is summarized, and the next step in the research program is presented.
