In 2001,state officially put forward in the new curriculum reform:”advocates the task-based teaching approach, the implementation of the cultivation of comprehensive language using ability in the teaching process, advocating experience,practice, participation, communication and cooperation of study way, realize the goal of the task, feel successful, emphasizes the students can use the foreign language to do things.”TBLT is quite different with the traditional English teaching method,TBLT emphasizes the students and teachers in equal status, learn from each other,which have the new requirements to teachers’ classroom role, so whether the teachers can adapt to the request of the TBLT to the teachers’ role in class, and flexible use of this new type of teaching method is particularly important, this is also the starting point of this study.This study selected Urumqi Toutunhe three primary school of classroom observation,chose three teachers as the research object, and conducted in-depth interviews, through collection and analysis of the survey data, find the factors influencing teachers’ role adaptation, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The article is divided into four parts:The first part: introduction, mainly introduced the selected topic reason of this study, the research status at home and abroad, core concepts, and research purpose,significance, ideas and methods.The second part: Teachers’ classroom role in the Task-based teaching. Based on task-based teaching content, summarizes Teachers’ classroom role in the Task-based teaching, respectively, the planner, organizer, task-based teaching helper and task completion of assessment.The third part: The case of design and analysis. Objects and methods of case study are introduced in detail, and based on the observation and the interview data,describes the three teachers roles adaption based on the background story, and has carried on the attribution, found the influence of teachers’ classroom role in the Task-based teaching, mainly include: the lack of theoretical knowledge, backward of teaching ideas, improper evaluation mechanism, the lack of teacher training and pertinence, neglect of English of schools and family, research consciousness is notstrong, lack of scientific research ability, etc.The fourth part: To schools and teachers’ suggestions. Specific include: teachers need to renew the idea, rich theoretical knowledge; schools should be reasonable evaluation mechanism, create a good campus hardware, teaching and scientific research environment; school should help parents set attaches great importance to children English learning consciousness and so on.
