A Case Study On The Sports Activities Of The Primary School In The Guanxian Wu Xun Hope School

There is a wide difference between the physical education of rural primary and secondary school and that of urban primary and secondary school in teaching contents and methods. The simplification, unification, fossilization and randomness of the physical education in rural primary and secondary school can adversely affect students’ active participation in sports class and activities. As a result, some students reject sports class. However, in real life, due to the limited conditions of rural primary and secondary school, the reformation of school sports is simplified in form, relatively small in scope and modest in effect. Therefore, the reform of rural primary and secondary school’s physical education is extremely urgent.It was decided by the principle Wang Hongxing and the leading group in 2011 that Guan County Wuxun Hope Elementary School was going to carry out the reform of school sports activities officially in the year of 2012. By introducing splendid sports activity content and adopting various instruction methods, the school has carried out the overall reform of students’ extracurricular sports activities. Finally, Wuxun Hope Elementary School became the only one that entered the “National Top 20 Happy and Hope School” from all over the Shandong Province during the selection of “Toshiba Cup·Happy and Hope Elementary School” which was held in 2013.Methods of literature, investigation and observation were detailedly used to analyze the Guan County Wuxun Hope Elementary School in this thesis. The current situation of sports activities and faculty were compared and analyzed. The thesis illustrated the reform of Wuxun Hope Elementary School sports activities from the school system, teaching content and instruction methods and gave some details of the sports content. Next, the writer summarized some reformation theories. The innovation ideas concludes keeping up with the national education policy, seeking the local policy support, integration the regular sports teaching content with traditional ethnic sports, combination students’ autonomy and teachers’ guiding, association “Going out” with “Bring in”. On the basis, this thesis analyzed the reformation ideas and found out the incomplete aspects such as the lack of appropriate evaluation system and insufficient innovation. Based on this, the thesis combined the local practical situation and carried on countermeasures analysis to lay the theoretical foundation for the further development. According to the practical situation in Liaocheng district, the paper analyzed the feasibility of the reformation ideas. Because of the powerful support of government, the fast development of economy, the rich background of traditional education culture and the improvement of people’s ideological awareness, the ideas conform to the trend of the development of the national physical education. Through analysis, the reformation ideas of Wuxun Hope Elementary School sports activity have good feasibility and reliability value. Also, the paper analyzed the possible problems that should be paid attention to. For example, strictly abiding by the education laws and regulations and following the principle of gradual improvement according to local conditions. We eventually want the reformation of Wuxun Hope Elementary School sports activity can go further and the ideas can be popularizing and spreading to improve the practical value of our country’s rural primary and secondary schools’ sports activities in the end.
