In recent years, the need of learning Chinese is growing within worldwide, Thailand is not an exception. The number of Chinese volunteer teachers to Thailand is increasing year by year. The innovation and discussion of the method of teaching Chinese is also in constant depth for Thailand as well as in other countries. Among them, the film and television resources has obvious advantages in Chinese teaching, so many Chinese teachers and learners are in favor of it. However, there are some problems in the process of using the film and television resources for auxiliary Chinese teaching by Chinese teachers, such as the film and television resources selection, processing, intervention, the time and frequency of use, and with the textbooks. These issues are worthy of discussion. This paper consists of six parts. The first chapter is an introduction, which describes the research’s background and purposes, and research methods used topics briefly. The second chapter introduces the predecessors’ achievements in the Chinese, English and the language teaching circle on this topic in our country. At the same time I also demonstrate the feasibility of using the film and television resources for auxiliary Chinese teaching with the relevant theoretical basis. The third chapter is to count and analyze the questionnaires data. I launched a comprehensive investigation to the teachers and students about the current situation of using the film and television resources in Thailand’s Chinese classroom. And I point out the problems and the shortages of the film and television resources being applied in the Thailand’s Chinese classroom. The fourth chapter is to propose solutions to improve the status of the application of the film and television resources integrating the results of the questionnaire analysis. The fifth chapter is mainly a instructional design which is based on the questionnaire results of the analysis. I propose a specific program about introducing "Beautiful China" into the Chinese classroom. The final chapter is the conclusion, which summarizes the achievements and deficiencies of this research.
