Critical educators believe that the selection of curriculum knowledge in school is not objective, neutral, and value free, but the interact of political, economic, cultural, class, power and ideology etc. This article aims to study the curriculum knowledge selection of critical pedagogy,try to have a comprehensive understanding of the selection of curriculum knowledge in the eyes of critical pedagogy, to provide theoretical support and practical enlightenment by build a reasonable curriculum knowledge selection mechanism. Specifically, this article mainly focus on four issues.First, try to analyze the historic appearance of curriculum knowledge selection of critical pedagogy,thus dig out the historical necessity for the emergence of critical pedagogy.This study based on discuss and compare three important genre-- pragmatism, essentialism and structuralism of their selection of curriculum knowledge view. Finally concludes that the limitations of each genre of view, and critical pedagogy from the choice of curriculum knowledge and the ruling class’s values, ideology and other aspects of the criticism and reconstruction is very necessary.Second, in this article, try to make clear the research basis of this study ——the "legitimacy" of curriculum knowledge."Legitimacy" of curriculum knowledge includes ideology, political, social, legal, and social public recognition of "legitimacy" curriculum knowledge. The five basic dimensions are complementary to each other.Curriculum knowledge only all conform to the five dimensions can become legal knowledge.Third, discuss the curriculum knowledge selection in the eyes of the critical pedagogy in details.Critical pedagogy think that curriculum knowledge is the knowledge of the ruling class, on behalf of the interests of the ruling class, because of curriculum knowledge can reproduce its ideology and spread their culture, and finally to consolidate its position, so the national ruling class just to carry on the strict screening of curriculum knowledge in the school, the standard of selection is to accord with the ruling class ideology, through controlling the course of compilation and review process, making the final selected knowledge are those who represent the ideology of the ruling class and the value of knowledge.Last, discuss the enlightenment of the curriculum knowledge selection of critical pedagogy.The selection of curriculum knowledge should be determined by the state, curriculum experts, teachers and students, private education groups of multiple choice subject; established on the basis of a multi-polar power of curriculum management framework requires diversificaton of curriculum knowledge selection standard,the specific power by the corresponding subject have power, and establish corresponding decentralized restriction mechanism; the object choice of pluralistic symbiosis requires weaken the scientific knowledge hegemony, pay attention to the humanistic knowledge, nonacademic knowledge and choice of oral knowledge. All these aspects do,it is possible to form a reasonable curriculum knowledge selection mechanism.
