The Usage Of Generalization Thinking In The Appreciation Of Poetry

This paper includes seven chapters : the introduction and six bodies. In the part of introduction, four aspects are mentioned: the reason why I choose the topic, the current situation of the study of the topic, the significance of my study and study methods.It is necessary to study the usage of generalization thinking in the appreciation of poetry. Firstly, generalization thinking is important in teaching and learning. Secondly, generalization thinking was required to use in teaching and learning in the New Curriculum Standard For Senior High. Besides, poetry have a highly artistic condensation. Lastly, the present situation of the appreciation of poetry needs to be studied more deeply. At present, few researcher focus on the usage of generalization thinking. Especially it was not used in the appreciation of poetry at all. This paper has many values. To ask students to pay more attention to the generalization thinking when they are reading poetry, this paper point out that generalization thinking is one of the most important factors in appreciation of poetry. There are many generalization thinking methods for appreciation of poetry introduced in this paper, as well as how to use this method to appreciate poetry in expressions and language, feelings and images. According to many documents,a great many of examples of generalization thinking used in poetry are presented in this paper, which has promoted students’ understanding of poetry a lot and improved students’ ability of generalization. At the same time, students can use this method to appreciate other literature effectively.Chapter 1 The summary of the relationship between thinking and generalization. It is a foundation of this study, which makes my paper more reasonable. It focuses on the definitions of “thinking” and “ generalization” and the thinking methods in generalization.Chapter 2 This chapter is about how to use generalization thinking in the appreciation of poetry correctly. Four effective methods are presented: ignore the images, transformation, compare and contrast, focus on main ideas and give up the details, which summarize the necessary steps and key points of generalization thinking in poetry appreciation.Chapter 3 to 6 This part is the show of my study’s fruits. In practice, studies on the four methods are introduced in details here. That is to say, how to use generalization thinking in the appreciation of the topic, the images, the skills of expressions and language usages of poetry are studied in details in this part. First, I combined different knowledge systems which are related to each other in theory. Then in practice, suitable generalization thinking methods are used in the appreciation of poetry. Meanwhile, some examples from appreciation of poetry which are discovered in the College Entrance Exams are used in categories where it is necessary.
