The Comparative Study On The Personal Offensive Capabilities Of Elite Guards At Home And Abroad In 2013-2014 CBA Playoffs

Since the foreign aid were introduced by the Guangdong team in CBA1995--1996 season, many other teams have introduced foreign aids constantly except Bayi team, which has two-sided effect. On the minus side,the introduction of foreign aids can make the local players have less time to take part in the competition. Many key baskets are managed by external assistance which is not helpful for the growth of local players. On the plus side, the local players can gain experience from high-level players, and the introduction of foreign aids is helpful for local players to imitate. After some NBA players entered into CBA, they have brought new training methods and competitive techniques and tactics. While in CBA league match, most of the excellent guards are held by foreign aid players. Because the personal ability of foreign aid is strong, and they have higher ability to deal with the key baskets. However, what is the gap between foreign players and local players? So the writer will make a comparative research on the offensive abilities between the guards who have participated in the national team training of Chinese men’s basketball team and the guards from foreign aids summed up 14 people in 2013-2014 CBA playoff.By analyzing the scoring abilities, the way of scoring, the abilities after breakthrough, and the abilities of backboard recovery of the outstanding domestic and foreign guards in the 2013-2014 CBA playoff, the writer has got the following conclusions:1. on the scoring abilities, the domestic excellent local guards is significantly different from the foreign aid players on the number of three-pointers, two-pointers and the penalty shots and the hit rate.2. On the way of scoring, there is significant difference between the domestic excellent guards and foreign aids on pull-up jumper, setting shot and lay-up.3. On the abilities of scoring, secondary attack, foul after ball-holding breakthrough ball, all of the domestic guards and foreign aids have a certain gap, and the domestic guards are slightly stronger than foreign aids.4. On the abilities of scoring, secondary attack, foul after dribbling, the abilities of foreign aids are higher than the local guards, and each of them has fewer faults.5. On the backboard recovery, the domestic local players have less positivity than foreign aids, so the abilities of backboard recovery still lags behind the foreign aids.
