| Ten years ago, Comrade Xi Jinping, published a signed article named Carry Forward the Red Boat Spirit and Walk in the Forefront of the times, in which he first put forward the concept of the Red Boat Spirit and expounded the meaning of it.Under the guidance of the Red Boat Spirit, the communists constructed the Party to save the whole China, made arduous struggle to achieve the national prosperity, and contributed themselves selflessly to realize the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Thus, the Red Boat Spirit is known as the spirit of the Chinese Revolution. By leading the Revolution to move forward, it is also called the resource of The Spirit of the Chinese Revolution. It is because the Red Boat Spirit provided the spiritual impetus for the Chinese Communists and the Chinese revolution that the revolution can defeated the strong enemy, drove away the imperial invaders, wiped out the inside hostile elements and established the new China. Meanwhile, it is because the value of the Red Boat Spirit which constantly promoted the the construction of the socialism to make great achievements. Inheriting and carrying forward the Red Boat Spirit can keep the advanced and purity of Party. And there exists an intrinsic relationship between the Red Boat Spirit and the nuclear value system of socialism and the Chinese dream, colleges and universities, as the Main Front for spreading the core ethical values of socialism and an important place for nurturing a promising man,when carrying out the the Red Boat Spirit strongly and stimulating its intrinsic value,promote the construction of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, functioned as a role of education.This text was divided into three parts, which inquiries the valuation of the Red Boat Spirit in the ideological education in colleges. The first part discusses the science contents and modern value of the Red Boat Spirit. It elaborates the emerging background, development history, and the scientific connotation of the spirit, which also analyzes its value and significance of the time. The last part is the exploration of the future development of the spirit. The second part discusses the inheritance of the spirit and the innovation of ideological and political education. Taking the spirit andideological and political education in colleges and universities for the conjunction point, we should carry forward initiative, the spirit of struggle and the spirit of dedication, and should innovate the work concept, contents and methods of ideological and political education.The third part discussed the internalization and development of the Red Boat Spirit. We should taking students personality development as the point for departure,combine the characteristics of contemporary development, and actively explore new paths of ideological and political education from four aspects, which including the Work of University’s Party Building, the means and forms of college education, the growth of college students, campus culture. |
