In recent years, more and more scholars have paid much attention to foreign language learning anxiety. Anxiety is always an obstacle which interferes with the learners’ English learning in the process of learning English. Schools may put the art students, who have an art skill, in one class to be well taught and managed. Generally speaking, these students don’t study well especially in Senior Three. They are desperately eager to improve their scores, but English is one of their particularly weak subjects. A sense of anxiety will appear involuntarily when they are learning English. Many scholars have studied the language learning anxiety. But the majority of scholars aimed at studying college students’ foreign language anxiety, barely aiming at high school students. Especially for the art students who will attend the upcoming college entrance examination, there are fewer studies on their foreign language learning anxiety.In the process of teaching, foreign language learning anxiety has a seriously negative effect on the Senior Students especially the art students in Senior Three. So, finding out the factors of anxiety, seeking the way of getting rid of anxiety, reducing the sense of anxiety in the learning process and changing the attitude towards foreign language learning are all very important to improve their academic performance. Based on the former scholars’ studies, I select the art students in Senior Three as the research object. The author investigate and analyze the anxiety factors which appear in the process of learning English from view that learning a foreign language can greatly influence their scores. At last, the author put forward some suggestions on how the art students in Senior Three can reduce their anxiety in learning foreign language.This study selects 111 art students in Senior Three as candidates and uses foreign language classroom anxiety scale(FLCAS) which was made by Horwitz as the research tool, and then use SPSS to analyze the collected data. Finally, the author can know the students’ anxiety status when they are learning English. The author also uses individual interview to analyze the factors of the students’ anxiety in learning foreign language. After finding out the causes of various type of anxiety, the author put forward some suggestions to reduce the foreign language learning anxiety of the art students in Senior Three from the view of the teacher according to the summary of the other researchers and the result of this study.
