| In recent years, in the “National Teacher Training Project†demonstration guidance, many regions active improve the system of training and implement classified and hierarchical training for all the kindergarten teachers. At present, “National Kindergarten Teacher Training†faces new problem in hierarchical training: simple hierarchical training dimension couldn’t fully reflect the differences of teachers’ professional development and demand. Training organization department also will not be able to design a training course for these differences and demand. Therefore a diagnostic assessment tool of teacher’s professional ability need to be developed urgently. We can offer targeted training courses for different level teachers according to the results of evaluation.In the upsurge of Parent Teacher Association, communication and cooperation ability has become an important and critical basic ability of kindergartners. As negative news of kindergarten teachers spread, conflict between parents and teachers are constantly emerging. These problems point to the lack of teachers’ professional competence of communicating and cooperating with parents. And it also reflects the training effect remains to be improved. Therefore, this research will develop a diagnostic assessment tool which could help improving the effectiveness of teacher hierarchical training through the point of the competence of communicating and cooperating with parents. At the same time, this tool will provide support for designing a targeted training course for kindergarten teachers.This research is based on the theory of the development of talent assessment tools, using methods such as literature study, interview investigation and experts’ consultation, exploring the path of establishing the index system and developing diagnostic evaluation instrument, and finally get a set of test questions that can distinguish the ability of kindergartners. This study includes the following three parts:(1) Establishing the index system. First of all, this research brought up the theory conception of index system through literature analysis. Then the result of exploratory factor analysis were used to supplement the results. After that, observation points were extracted by the behavior event interview. Finally, by the expert consultation, screening and revision, we got the final establishment of 3 primary evaluation factors(Communication and cooperation knowledge, Communication and cooperation emotion, Communication and cooperation skill),10 two level evaluation factors(Professional knowledge, Communication attitude, Psychological adjustment, Empathy, Expression ability and so on)and 28 observation points(Mastery of knowledge, Application of knowledge, Dissemination of knowledge and so on). The preliminary evaluation standard were established at the same time.(2) Developing the diagnostic evaluation instrument. This research used the method of psychological test to measure the ability of kindergartners. The test questions were determined by expert consultation and discussion. The author complement and improve the evaluation standard on the basis of the test questions.(3) Testing the instrument. Finally, the study conducts the test with this questionnaire and analyzes the items and tests its reliability and validity. The formal questionnaire is to be constructed by revising. Through the above three parts, we develop a kindergarten teachers ’ communicating and cooperating with parents capability diagnostic assessment tool with good reliability and validity.At last, the author reflects on the insufficiency of study and proposes the future development direction of the tools: item banking, multiple assessment, imaging network running mechanism of the instrument. |
