| Formative education is an effective way of children moral education. Moral education is largely formative education to primary and secondary students. Although it is not the whole moral education, it is the most “concrete†in moral education. Cultivation of children’s good habit is a long-term and complicated work. Formative education in Chinese schools is at the stage of continuous exploration and improvement. It is hoped that students are able to overcome improper behaviors and habits and foster good behaviors and habits from childhood through effective cultivation and training, which is exactly the basic connotation and major task of formative education.Primary school stage is the foundation stage of life development and the best stage to enrich knowledge and accept formative education of good moral characters, behaviors and habits. Once this critical period is missed, it might affect students’ lifetime development. Hence, carrying out study of formative education of pupils has important meaning to schools, teachers, students and parents. Taking Yuying School, Furong District, Changsha City as the example, this paper starts from the current status of pupils’ school behavior and probes into ways and methods suitable for formative education of students in this school to foster students’ civilized etiquette and habit, good study habit, health habit and safety habit and so on. It also summarizes the effect and experience of formative education in Yuying School to enhance students’ quality promotion and comprehensive development.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part of the introduction, discusses the problems of the proposed, research status, research significance, research methods and the definition of related concepts.The second part is the primary behavior status and Yuying school formative education background, mainly study the status quo of students’ behavior habits, the reasons of bad habits of pupils, and Yuying school formative education background. The third part is the basic contents of formative education in Yuying School,ways and methods. The fourth part is the achievements of Yuying school in formative education. The fifth part is the experience and reflection, and put forward the problem of this research and improvement suggestions.Through action research and experience summary, this paper gains precious experience in formative education from reflection on practice, which is targeted and available for other schools’ reference. |
