By design-related issues questionnaire and using students in Nanjing University of technology as sample, taking research on a random sample of college students in the form of issued bearer, understand the current situation of ideological and political theory course teaching in colleges and universities, as well as the students ’ satisfaction with the practical teaching of ideological and political and related appeals. Based on the statistical analysis of survey data, concluded that main reason for the ideological and political theory course teaching in colleges and universities in trouble: students themselves, teachers themselves flawed, teaching environment, society, such as major adverse effects in the environment.Finally, based on the current lack of ideological and political theory course teaching in colleges and universities, presented five substantial programs of ideological and political theory course teaching in colleges and universities countermeasures: Understanding of teaching groups; strengthen the construction and management of teaching staff in colleges and universities; improve teaching methods, build carrier of ideological and political theory course teaching in colleges and universities, strengthening practical teaching link; create a good social atmosphere on campus and create environment of ideological and political theory teaching in colleges and universities; perfecting teaching evaluation system of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.
