At present, post teaching practice is a kind of new practice mode being explored to train teachers in the teaching reform of higher education in China. And this mode is an important carrier to improve the quality of higher education. Chinese normal universities have implemented post teaching practice. This mode has achieved certain results, formed a variety of modes. But there are also a lot of problems. This study is intent to build post teaching practice mode theory from the five aspects of concept, content, tools, procedure and systems, which is based on the view of management. This paper has investigated the present situation of post teaching practice in reality through interviews, analyzed the existing problems from the view of model construction, explored the reasons, and putted forward the countermeasures to improve the post teaching practice mode.This paper includes the following five parts:The first part is introduction. It mainly includes research background, research meaning, research review, research ideas, methods, innovation points and so on.The second part is post teaching practice mode. This part describes the post teaching practice mode’s related concepts and the theoretical basis of model construction.The third part is the construction of post teaching practice mode.This part is intent to build post teaching practice mode from the five aspects of concept, content, tools, procedure and systems.The fourth part discusses the problems existing in the post teaching practice mode status and analysis of the causes.Combined with the content of the third part, this part explains the main problems from the five aspects of concept, content, tools, procedure and systems and analyzes the reasons from the view of post teaching practice and model construction. According to the actual situation of post teaching practice, this part put forward the improvement strategies in four aspects, such as, strengthen the publicity of post teaching practice’s idea, enrich theoretical guidance of post teaching practice mode, develop effective solutions of post teaching practice, improve the system construction of post teaching practice mode. These strategies are designed to provide guidance for students who take part in post teaching practice, reference for normal universities which develop post teaching practice, ideas for the personnel training of normal universities, and advice for standard operation of post teaching practice.
