In the background of the knowledge economy, high-quality human resources play an important role for sustainable economic and social development, which the quality of human resources for sustainable security also put forward new demands.Within the current and the future long period, high-quality human resources needs remain the focus of the national attention. As the most crucial and most scarce part of human capital, science and technology leading talents live in the top position of personnel structure. The good development of science and technology leading talents is an important human resource quality assurance of China’s future. Attaching importance to science and technology leading talent of growth and development is the key to China from a populous country to an important part of human resource power shift, but also continuously improve the overall quality of human resources.In recent years, We have increasing the intensity talent team construction on science and technology leading talents. The government introduced a series of introduction,selection, training science and technological leading talents policies and regulations and achieved some success. However, we are concerned about science and technology leading talents’ remarkable success but paid insufficient attention to their health. Domestic and foreign scholars studies show that the health of science and technology leading talent is not optimistic,which physical and mental health tends to decline. Frequent "karoshi" phenomenon is to give us a wake-up call. Their casualties is the challenge of life in modern society, but also the unexpected loss of the national treasure.Paper use survey data from China Association of Science and Technology to conduct a comprehensive analysis of science and technology leading talents in health status(including physical health and mental health) and its influencing factors, using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The survey data which is time-sensitive, high authority,sample volume, is by far Science and Technology Leading Talents in study health status and influencing factors ideal data.First of all, on the basis of literature research, combining theory and practice to guide research on science and technology leading talent operate the core concept of the definition :proposed in the field including outstanding professional qualities, is the industry recognized leader of the elite; the soul of a high level of scientific research teams and can lead the team to the sustainable development of these two dimensions defined as the science and technology leading talent.
